Not many made

No, not done a lot this week, in fact the 2 birthday cards were started last week and finished this week, both of them were for Crafts Beautiful birthday club members. The wedding one was an order off a friend.

The colours used on the wedding card are the same as the bridesmaids dresses, I was given the strap off the dress and managed to match it perfectly with some ribbon bought at Stampezee in Coventry, the card was already in my stash. Wedding bells were done with a Cuttlebug embossing folder from a set of 4 'Wedding', the other was done with a 7 x 5 folder 'Jamara'. 'Mr & Mrs' is from Inkadinkado 'Weddiing' acrylic stamp set 97892. Sticky gems from stash.

Lili of the Valley image 'Fairy on Tiptoe' coloured with copics, circles cut with nesties. Papers from Making Memories 6 x 6 pad 'Flower Patch' swirls made from EK Success 'Large Swirl Flourish'. Sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

This card is more or less the same as the one on a previous post, only difference is I didn't punch a border. The corners were made with a Cuttlebug Die that's one of a set of 4 and the bits that came out were stuck around the circle.

I'm off to bed as I've had toothache since yesterday, but I'm hoping I escape a visit to the dentist, as it hasn't been as painful as it was yesterday.

Craft workshop cards continued

Here are the final 2 cards from workshops at Craft Inspirations, I was so tired last night I was falling asleep as I was typing.....luckily I was in bed already :)

I really enjoyed doing this, this was my introduction to using Derwent Coloursoft Pencils and Sansodor. To spread and blend the colours a paper stump was used, dipped into the Sansodor. I've read about Prismacolours which I think are American (not sure) but apparently Coloursoft is the UK equivalent and you get the same results. The images used are from Inkadinkado '97622 Doodle Flowers' 2 of which have been decoupaged and inked using black Versafine. The smooth white card had an aperture cut using a nestie scalloped oval, then a smaller size was used to make an oval scallop which had the sentiment stamped on, then stuck to the pale lemon bazzill card with sticky pads.

The same colouring technique was used on this as above. The image is from Penny Black 'Birthday Balloons' and layered onto green bazzill card, lemon panel was run through the cuttlebug twice using the dotty embossing border with pale pink grosgrain ribbon going round it. The dots are bigger than the Swiss Dots. The paper is Basic Grey 'Lemonade Doillies Flowers' which is matted onto pink pearl card. The flower I think maybe a Prima one

I'm back....

I had to go and collect Shane from school as well as my friend's 2. I ended up stopping in her house playing with her tv, as she'd just had Virgin installed, didn't leave until 5.20, good job she's only 4 doors away :)

This was done at a work shop at Craft Inspirations in Sutton Coldfield with Shirley. The flourish and greeting is by Inkadinkado 'Wedding 97892' The red corner flourish was done with 'Vintage' 2 x 2 cuttlebug die (set of 4). Rose image is from Inkadinkado 'Doodle Flowers' 97622, and watercoloured with pencils. The red strip was done with a cuttlebug embossing border folder 'With Love' and red gems stuck on. The rectangles were done with nesties.

The photo doesn't do this justice. Old Gold card is from Inspire Me Papers, ovals is ivory pearlescent, brown matt card and old gold. The image and greeting is from the same set as the flourish that's on the card above. Embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, the side panel was punched with Fiskars 'Scalloped Lace.
